Synthetic diamond powders

SDP Impex LLC can produce and supply synthetic diamond powders of different types and grits.

Application:

• RSD-1 - Resin bond tools for finishing and lapping of tungsten carbide.
• RSD-2 to MSD-4 - Resin, metal and vitrified bond tools for machining of tungsten carbide, ceramics, glass and other brittle materials.
• MSD-5 and MSD-6 - Metal bond tools for grinding of stone, cutting of soft rocks, machining of glass, ruby, synthetic corundum.
• MSD-7 MSD-8 - Metal bond tools for machining natural stones, building materials, rocks, ceramics, glass, concrete. Drilling tools.
• MSD-9 and MSD-10 - Metal bond tools for cutting, drilling of rocks, concrete, glass, ceramics, refractory bricks; tool dressing. Drilling tools.

Application:

Lapping and polishing of hard and super-hard materials, corundum, ceramics, natural diamond, other precious stones. Super precise lapping and polishing of semiconductors.

Powders can be:

• produced in micron, FEPA or US Mesh specifications
• produced in non-standard grits like 25/20, 20/10, 12/8, 4/2 and others
• coated with nickel, copper and titanium.

To check granulometric composition of Diamond and CBN powders we use Mastersizer laser diffraction system.
